The Sigma ‘S’ Range of Flange Adaptors and Couplings

This Product, in sizes 50mm to 300mm, has been purposely designed to suit a limited,
popular, range of pipeline materials, namely Ductile Iron, Steel and PVC.

Limiting the range of sizes covered allows for the use of Tie Studs on the standard
product - without the need for notching the end ring.

This range is therefore ideal for use as a tied flange adaptor or coupling that requires
restraint, either to a welded tie flange or by utilising the Dismantling Joint system
offered below.

The Sigma ‘M’ Range of Flange Adaptors and Couplings

The ‘M’ Range covers the size range 350mm to 600mm and is dedicated for use with
Ductile Iron pipe only, specifically to suit our customer base.

Manufactured to the same exacting standards as the smaller sizes, this product is again
ideal for end restraint whilst at the same time offering reduced installation times due
to the limited stroke of the compression bolts associated with a dedicated product.

The standard drilling for the ‘S’ & ‘M’ Range Flange Adaptor is PN16

The ‘W’ Range – A standard stock item suitable for a wide range of
pipeline materials.

This group of products have a wide range accommodating most pipeline materials.

They are available in sizes to suit 50mm to 600mm NB pipe.

Dismantling Joints

The Sigma dismantling joint is designed to give greater flexibility to the engineer
during the installation of any flanged pipework system.

Designed to permit the mounting and dismantling of valves, pumps etc, the
dismantling joint is fast and simple to use due to its inherent adjustability, eliminating
the need for more complex anchoring systems.

The dismantling joint comprises a standard ‘S’ or ‘M’ Type flange adaptor, a short
length flange spigot pipe and tie bars, supplied to suit customer requirements,
50mm of adjustment is available due to the telescopic action of the spigot within the
flange adaptor.

The product range is available in cast form 50mm through 600mm and is offered as a
steel fabrication uti 2,000mm.
