Sigma Commercial Products Ltd. (SCP), is a subsidiary of the SAL Group of 
Companies (SAL) with a successful manufacturing history going back to 1994.
As a group SAL is a major supplier of ductile iron, steel and aluminium 
castings to the automotive and other allied industries.

Since its inception early in 2006, SCP has specialised in design, manufacture 
and supply of Ductile Iron pressure pipeline products for water and 
wastewater applications and is one of the UK's largest stockholders of 
these products.

We can also offer a range of commercial waterworks valves in Cast and 
Ductile Iron, bronze valves for use in water, oil and gas applications and brass
for the HVAC industry.

We are also proud to represent Anvil Products as sole UK distributor of their
"Gruvlok" range of grooved-end fire protection valves.


BACKGROUND
As the Global market becomes more competitive, and cost bases are reviewed

Sigma ASL Logistics Ltd., a key part of our group, is responsible for all aspects
of inventory and logistics management including stock control, delivery, 
packing, shipping and Customs issues. This means SCP can provide from C&F 
to DDP service for all our customers.

FOUNDRY AND MANUFACTURING
Established over 10 years ago, our primary supplier of coated fittings 50 mm
to 350 mm was founded as a result of collaboration between a successful 
Asian business family and an ex patriot UK foundry engineer. Further allied
to the long term and successful business relationship between Sigma 
Corporation and our supplier of fittings 350 mm to 800 mm, this provides a
comprehensive product range.

Our objective is clear; to produce high quality castings at competitive prices.
The low cost of resources in Asia makes the locations ideal; the expertise 
and UK engineering skills make the objective achievable. We have developed
and are taking advantage of this lower cost base, to manufacture 
components and finished goods. In return, the transfer of modern technology
has enabled our suppliers to become high quality manufacturers of coated and
uncoated fittings, adaptors, couplings and mechanical joints.

SCP PRODUCT RANGE
SCP manufacture in Asia, a diverse range of components for many different
sectors of the waterworks industry. We have a core of quality suppliers of 
valves and associated products, and, of course, we specialise in Ductile Iron
pressure pipeline products for the water and wastewater industries of the 
world.

As part of the finishing process, we offer a comprehensive range of 
recognized finish coatings and linings that are safe for use in potable water

We can produce fittings up to 1600mm nominal bore, with a working 
pressure of up to 40 bar. Valve products are produced to all the relevant

Our associate manufacturers have a long history of supplying Quality EN, BS,
DIN and ISO standard products to the United Kingdom and many other
European countries including Germany, Holland, Belgium, Spain and Italy.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
We complement our standard product range of pressure pipeline products by
maintaining a formal relationship with the highly skilled and experienced 
development and design team at Design and Provide Limited. Together we
work on improvements to current products, and the development of
innovations using the very latest CAD and finite element analysis systems.

QUALITY
Within SCP the quality of the goods that bear our name is fundamental to
our business and is the key to our success. Our fittings business operates to
full BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 quality assurance accreditation, and every stage
of casting, machining, testing, coating, assembly and inspection is covered 
by specific quality control procedures.

Within SCP we have many years of experience supplying the high demands of 
the automotive industry. This has enabled us to hone our service package to

products at our UK warehousing facility, with professional inventory
